Disappointed Long-Time User – Key Features Now Locked Behind Paywall
I have used Kubio Page Builder for a long time and initially recommended it to many clients. Unfortunately, the recent decision to move previously free features—such as precise control over padding and margin—into the Pro plan feels like a serious breach of trust. These options were core design tools, not luxury extras. Removing them from the free version disrupts existing sites and undermines the principle of open-source collaboration that WordPress thrives on. It forces loyal users into a paid upgrade simply to maintain layouts they already built. I understand the need for a sustainable business model, but stripping fundamental functionality from users after they have committed to your platform is not the way to build goodwill or long-term success. Until Kubio reconsiders this approach or offers a fair path for existing users, I cannot recommend it to anyone seeking a reliable, community-friendly page builder.
Great Support
I was having an issue with the featured image alignment on my website, and the Kubio support team was incredibly helpful. They were so patient and kept working with me until the problem was completely resolved. I am very grateful for their kind and thorough assistance. Highly recommended!

Malware
Kubio interferes with the standard operation of normal pages, interferes with viewing standard(non-kubio) pages. As in you cannot view standard pages unless it has interfered with them and rendered them kubio only pages. Interferes with e-commerce plugins like surecart. Does not play nice with many functions in wordpress. My advice is stay away from kubio, it is not worth it, a few bells for a programmers nightmare cleanup after it.

What have they done???
I used Kubio for 2 sites I build 2 years ago (Game Site and a Fashion Model Agency). Loved the system and simplicity… now this Hero crap.. sorry, I was looking for a more friendly word but.. that is the most friendly word I came up with. If I would have run into the Hero version 2 years ago I would never EVER have used it. They changed things for the worse.. and not just a little worse.. is UNUSABLE now.. bye bye Kubio.. will use something else for the new Music Studio Site I build.. just shaking my head.
