Great for Design
Love the templates cz they save me hours. Really easy to customize everything. It gets a bit laggy sometimes, but for the design options, it’s worth it. Thx!
Elementor V4 feels like an alpha build, not a production-ready editor
I really wanted to like Elementor V4. The idea behind the Atomic Editor is good: classes, variables, components and a more scalable design-system approach are exactly what Elementor has needed for years. On paper, it sounds like the right direction. In practice, however, V4 feels unfinished, unstable and nowhere near ready for serious production work. The biggest issue is that basic workflows still feel unreliable. Classes and variables are supposed to be the foundation of the new editor, but they do not feel dependable enough yet. I have seen too many reports of classes not saving properly, disappearing, behaving inconsistently, or creating different results between the editor and the frontend. If the class system is not solid, the whole V4 workflow falls apart. The component system also feels promising but incomplete. Reusable components should make professional site building faster and cleaner, but the current implementation still has too many limitations. Property overrides are not flexible enough, translation workflows are not mature, and simple real-world use cases quickly become awkward. Something as basic as creating a heading with a highlighted word using an inline <span> should not be a problem in a modern editor, yet V4 makes this harder than it needs to be. There are also many smaller issues that add up quickly: strange default padding, unit controls behaving inconsistently, missing layout options, mobile editing problems, styling conflicts, unreliable custom CSS editing, and differences between what you see in the backend and what appears on the frontend. These are not minor annoyances when you are building client websites. They slow down the workflow, reduce confidence, and force unnecessary workarounds. What makes this even more frustrating is the direction Elementor seems to be taking as a company. Instead of focusing on the core reason people chose Elementor in the first place, which was making it easy to build websites visually inside WordPress, the product now feels increasingly distracted by pricing changes, AI features, hosting, marketing add-ons and upsells. Elementor built its reputation by making website building simpler, faster and more accessible. That should still be the main priority. But right now it feels like the company is trying to become an all-in-one platform before fixing the basics of its own editor. The result is a product that feels more commercially aggressive, but less reliable for the people who actually use it every day. V4 should have been a careful rebuild of Elementor’s foundations. Instead, it feels like another rushed layer added on top of an already complex ecosystem. Users do not need more AI prompts, hosting offers or pricing tiers if the editor itself is unstable. We need a builder that is fast, predictable, accessible, easy to use and reliable on real client websites. What makes this worse is the way V4 has been positioned. It is being presented as the future of Elementor and, for new installations, as the default experience. But in real-world use it still feels like a rushed beta, or even an alpha, that has been pushed out too early. Paying users should not feel like unpaid testers for a system that is still missing basic production-level reliability. Elementor V4 may become excellent one day, but right now I would not use it for important client projects. The architecture is promising, but the execution is not mature enough. Until the class system, components, responsive controls, custom CSS, Theme Builder behaviour and third-party compatibility are significantly more stable, I would recommend staying with the classic V3 workflow for production websites or even move to another builder like Bricks.
Worth Every Click
Elementor literally saved me tons of time. drag & drop works rly smooth, no coding needed at all. few small glitches sometimes bt ntg that ruins the exp. overall gr8 tool for building sites quickly
Powerful, With a Catch
Drag and drop works like a charm, built 3 landing pages w/ zero coding. Only gripe? Loads a ton of CSS even for simple pages. Site speed took a hit tbh. Worth it for the design freedom tho, just pair it w/ a cache plugin
Solid But Pricey
widget library is actually impressive ngl. set up my portfolio site w it, no dev needed. only thing is u gotta go pro for the real good stuff. free ver is ok bt feels limited after a while
Absolute Rubbish
Why have you changed everything do you think people have nothing better to do than rummage around trying to find out how to use the latest update. Very frustrating.
We use Elementor every day
Elementor is an amazing WordPress builder. It gets updates regularly, is easy to use to build great-looking pages.
Elementor 4. Not for me 🙁
Using Elementor for years – this latest version 4 is not for me. The loading screen takes forever, if it even loads, its cluttered with the new ATOM items. The learning curve and all the settings are overwhelming. I think you missed the mark on this one.
Sembra semplice anche per non programmatori
Sto costruendo un giornale online per un’associazione e mi sta aiutando davvero molto!
Absolute Rubbish
Why have you changed everything do you think people have nothing better to do than rummage around trying to find out how to use the latest update. Very frustrating.
Supporto tecnico inesistente: ticket chiusi senza soluzione
Be Carefull on Install
Lately i installed Elementor on one of my sites. It installed a THEME together with the plugin and even activated it. I was about to sleep so didn’t check the site and my site stayed broken all night. I know this plugin keep doing aggressive things but this was over the board.
