Typing Text is a functional plugin that provides native WordPress animated typing effects with some useful customization options. However, it suffers from compatibility issues with classic editors and page builders, loads external fonts which may conflict with site styling, and has known security vulnerabilities in older versions that have not been fully resolved.

While it may suit users who want a simple typing animation plugin for the block editor and are not concerned about font loading or security risks, others should consider more polished alternatives with better compatibility and security track records.
