What It Does

Pantheon Advanced Page Cache is designed for sites that require precise control over their edge cache responses. This plugin utilizes surrogate keys based on WordPress' main WP_Query object to tag responses with identifiers for the data used. When WordPress data is modified, the plugin triggers a purge request for the corresponding surrogate keys.

This technology allows for a more accurate cache purge mechanism and a higher cache hit rate. It also supports the WordPress REST API, making it versatile for various use cases.

With Pantheon Advanced Page Cache, you can ensure that your visitors always receive fresh content without delays. The plugin includes features for adding custom surrogate keys and managing cache max age settings programmatically. Additionally, it integrates seamlessly with other WordPress plugins like WPGraphQL.
