What It Does

This plugin automatically transforms the HTML tables in your WordPress posts, pages, and widgets to be mobile-friendly. On devices with smaller screens, the tables will display in a new layout with two columns. The first column contains the data from the first row, which are the column names, while the second column displays the data from the other rows.

The plugin affects content in posts, pages, excerpts, category descriptions, and text/HTML widgets. Users can choose the affected screen size and customize the cell background and border colors for even and odd rows. It also provides options to disable the responsive feature for specific tables using HTML class or ID, or for specific posts and pages by ID.

Some advantages include its fully automatic operation, no changes to the original post/page content in the database, and easy reversibility by simply deactivating the plugin. However, there are some limitations such as the requirement for the first row to contain column names and the inability to handle merged cells or tables within tables.
