What It Does

This plugin allows users to manage how many revisions are stored for each supported post type in WordPress. Previously, the number of revisions was controlled by the WP_POST_REVISIONS constant, which applied universally. Now, with this plugin, you can specify the number of revisions retained for each post type through a user-friendly interface.

To configure the settings, simply go to Settings > Writing after enabling the plugin. This feature is beneficial as it helps prevent database bloat caused by excessive revisions, which can lead to slower performance. You can choose to keep all revisions for certain post types while limiting the number for others.

This plugin addresses the lack of a native interface in WordPress for controlling revisions. It is a simple solution for users who want to optimize their database without losing valuable content history.
