What It Does

On a busy site you can't afford to make changes to live, published posts without reviewing and approving them first. Revisionize clones your post, page or custom post type to a draft that gives you the freedom to tweak, edit and experiment with the content. Preview your drafted changes and/or share the preview with a third party to approve the changes. When you're happy, publish the revision, which will copy your content changes to the original post. Alternatively, schedule the revision to publish your content at a specific time.

Visit revisionize.pro to add functionality that makes Revisionize even more powerful.

Revisionize is compatible with plugins like Advanced Custom Fields and Public Post Preview. However, it is not compatible with the default Gutenberg editor and requires the Classic Editor plugin. Some plugins may not work with Revisionize if they store content in their own database tables.

Revisionize offers a unique content revision workflow solution that is not fully matched by other revision management plugins. It stands out by enabling scheduled content updates on the same URL, which is a feature not commonly found in alternatives.

Final Verdict

Revisionize is a highly rated plugin that effectively addresses content revision and scheduling needs, offering features that many users find indispensable for managing workflows. Its strong user approval reflects its value in scenarios requiring scheduled content updates on the same URL.

However, the lack of Gutenberg editor support and compatibility issues with popular SEO plugins like Yoast limit its appeal for users on modern WordPress setups. Prospective users should weigh these factors against their specific needs and consider alternatives if Gutenberg integration is essential.
