What It Does

This plugin facilitates the import of multilingual data from WPML into Polylang. It imports languages and WPML options that exist in Polylang, ensuring a smooth transition. You can import posts and terms languages along with translations for custom post types and taxonomies.

The plugin also handles the import of multilingual navigation menus and string translations without deleting any WPML data. It is important to back up your database before proceeding with the import process.

To use the plugin, deactivate WPML, activate Polylang or Polylang Pro, and then proceed with the import using the WPML Importer tool. After the import, you can deactivate or delete the WPML to Polylang plugin.
