Don’t waste your time.
I have opened 2 support cases for the pro version that is crashing my site and nobody is responding. This is over 1 week without a response. Thank you for crashing my site and not even extending me the courtesy of supporting your product that I paid for.
Very overwhelming
The plugin looks great on the front end. But at the back end, it is just a bit overwhelming. You’ve got FAQ Groups and Categories. But what the difference may be is not easily found. To add a group, you don’t have the button in the upper right corner, like with posts or pages (or I must be overlooking it). Instead you need to navigate to another item in the side menu. This feels counterintuitive. When building the FAQ you can add questions directly in the group. But you can also write questions and answers in a different section of the plugin.Loved the way the questions are presented on the front end page. With a search bar that added just that little extra. But the back end just didn’t make any sense for me.
Flexible and Easy to use FAQ solution
This is just what we needed to add a simple FAQ page. I’m no WordPress expert, and had no trouble getting helpie-faq installed and working. The only thing I was confused about, because I didn’t read the instructions, was FAQ Groups vs FAQ Categories. Read about that before you create a bunch of FAQs so you understand the organization options. The feature set is quite generous in the free version. There is little lacking for a simple FAQ page. Update: I ultimately gave up on this plugin due to an unresolved conflict with BoldGrid editor, and it completely quit loading with a fatal error I could not resolve. Mainly it was the BoldGrid issue that made me switch, which I suppose most people won’t have an issue with. It would have been nice to see the helpie-FAQ team work with Boldgrid to find a resolution to the issue, but after a couple of years of having to close Helpie-faq just to edit a page I was done with it.

A very responsive support service! Two hours after reporting the bug I was able to get a new version.Cheer !
hopeless. import does not work
I imported my faqs using wp-import. faqs ARE in gourps and categoires. The plugin knows this in the backend, forgets in the front.Deleting
Not working and intrusive – never test in production
As mentioned by other users, the json does not appear in the header. The plugin has other problems, the first one being that it creates and publish content when it is installed. FAQ, faq categories, but also a page that is, of course, not relevant to my website, but appears automatically in the RSS feed. Come on guys, never heard about the status “draft” ? 😀 I mean you’re supposed to be SEO and you publish content without authorization ? It is not compatible with WPML, so can’t be used on multilingual website without a lot of effort. And finally the free version does not let you choose manually the order of the questions, and I did not see it mentioned in the features of the pro version. Definitively uninstalled it.
