SiteGround Migrator

This plugin is hit or miss for me over the last year or two. It seems to work well if I’m moving within the SiteGround environment, but if I’m migrating from a different host, it can often get hung up. That said, it’s come in handy on more than one occasion.

Every time I use this, and I’ve used it a dozen times or more, I have to double and triple check which site is the source and which site is the destination. The documentation does not make it clear, and it’s easy to make a mistake. Getting it wrong will wipe your existing site and replace it with the blank site you’re attempting to migrate it to. There’s no reason why they are unable to explain their own product in plain English, using simple words like FROM and TO.

Aunque no pensé que demoraría tanto, la transferencia se completo con exito. Mi sitio pesa 1.1 GB y se completo en casi 12 horas. No se como se comporta en sitios mas pesados, pero en el mio fue muy bien.

I’ve already tried it mulitple times with multiple sites. It’s a waste of time. Better to do it manually or use a duplicator.

This is a nightmare! I’m really stuck with your plugin. Do I need to select an empty folder and generate a token for that or do I need to install the plugin and what? This is confusing and you don’t have any video on how to do this migration.
