What It Does

Emoji Settings adds an option to your Writing Settings page to enable or disable emoji conversion. When disabled, it stops the conversion of ASCII smilies like :) and :D to images on your WordPress site. This plugin also prevents real emojis from being changed to Twemoji images by removing default WordPress scripts.

You can find the option under 'Settings > Writing' in your WordPress admin. This plugin does not stop real emojis from being stored or outputted on your website.
