Key features include a flexible API that allows querying of posts, pages, custom post types, taxonomies, users, and more. The schema is extendable, enabling custom integrations. It is compatible with modern frameworks such as Next.js, Astro, and SvelteKit, ensuring optimized performance by fetching exactly the data needed in a single query.

WPGraphQL is becoming a Canonical Plugin on WordPress.org, ensuring long-term support and a growing community of users and contributors.

When upgrading, it is recommended to familiarize yourself with the changes in the release notes published on GitHub. WPGraphQL follows Semver practices, communicating meaning through version numbers.

WPGraphQL uses Appsero SDK to collect telemetry data upon user confirmation, helping troubleshoot problems and improve the product. The SDK does not gather any data by default and only starts collecting basic telemetry data when allowed by the user.
