What It Does

InfiniteWP Client allows users to manage an unlimited number of WordPress sites from their own server. This self-hosted system ensures complete control over your sites.

Main features include one-click updates for WordPress, plugins, and themes across all your sites. You can instantly backup and restore your entire site or just the database.

Additionally, it provides one-click access to all WP admin panels, and you can bulk manage plugins and themes by activating or deactivating multiple items on several sites simultaneously. It also supports bulk installation of plugins and themes across multiple sites at once.

Comparing to Alternatives

InfiniteWP Client competes in a crowded field of remote site management tools, most of which pair a lightweight client plugin with a central dashboard. It has a long track record and loyal user base, but newer or more actively hardened alternatives have gained ground on the security front.

Top alternatives

Strengths

Long-established plugin with a decade of real-world use across agencies
Strong, responsive support frequently praised by long-term users
Simple, self-hosted dashboard model without recurring SaaS fees
Proven ability to bulk-manage updates and patches across many sites efficiently

Weaknesses

Significantly worse vulnerability history than most competitors, including two critical CVSS 10 issues
No actively promoted pro version, so all functionality relies on the free client plus self-hosted dashboard
Slower cadence of security fixes compared to some newer alternatives

User Sentiment Analysis

With 177 ratings, InfiniteWP Client holds a strong 4.4/5 average, and over 80% of reviewers give it 5 stars. However, roughly 12% of ratings are 1-2 star, a noticeably higher low-end share than many competing plugins, though no specific written complaints were found in the negative review sample.

Common complaints

Weaknesses

A concerning security history with 9 known vulnerabilities, including two critical unauthenticated account takeover/bypass issues
Higher-than-average share of low ratings (12.4%) suggests some unresolved user dissatisfaction not captured in available reviews
Reliance on self-hosted dashboard architecture requires diligent, timely updates to stay secure

Who Should Use This?

Best for

Agencies and freelancers already invested in the InfiniteWP ecosystem who value its long track record, responsive support, and self-hosted dashboard model for managing many client sites without SaaS fees.

Not ideal for

Security-conscious users or those managing sensitive client sites should be cautious given InfiniteWP Client's history of critical vulnerabilities, including unauthenticated account takeover and SQL injection flaws. Anyone not prepared to apply updates immediately upon release may be better served by an alternative with a cleaner security record.

Pricing & Value

Free version includes

The free plugin provides full remote management functionality when paired with a self-hosted InfiniteWP dashboard, including bulk updates, backups, and site monitoring across unlimited sites without subscription fees.

Final Verdict

InfiniteWP Client earns loyalty through years of reliable service and consistently praised support, and its free, self-hosted model remains appealing for agencies wary of subscription-based alternatives. The overwhelmingly positive reviews reflect genuine satisfaction among long-term users who value the time savings and responsiveness of the team behind it.

However, the plugin's security history is a serious concern, with nine recorded vulnerabilities including two critical, unauthenticated flaws that could lead to full site compromise. Combined with a notably high share of low ratings, this makes InfiniteWP Client a reasonable choice only for users committed to prompt updates, while those prioritizing security assurance may want to weigh alternatives like MainWP or Watchful first.
