We have purchased this twice over the course of 4 years. We were thinking of an invoice system built into WordPress and found this. Years ago we purchased it and it was old and clunkly, we figured we’d give them another shot and guess what, old and clunky still years later. We requested a refund that day, they said they would, and they never have after writing them multiple times. Do not use this plugin, you will hate it. It’s build like DOS back in 1995. It’s terrible.
No Support
I have been trying to get support with this plugin (which will currently not allow me to accept payments) for over a week now to no avail. This is not the first time this has happened, usually support will eventually address the issue but in this case, nothing, so you get a bad review.
⚠️ AVOID! Broken & completely lacking support.
Stripe payment gateway is broken and support is completely non-existent now, even for paid subscribers. They ignored all of our support tickets and emails, and when we finally got a hold of someone at their paren InMotion Hosting account, they gave us a 2 hour runaround—claiming they or we couldn’t contact Sprout Invoices’s team directly and later that we needed a specific InMotion hosting account just to get help for a plugin we already paid for! Even months later, we have no technical resolution and no refund. If you value your time and money, steer clear. They’ve completely abandoned their integrity and customers.

I used Sprout for years, but this year there has been no support and no updates, and the plugin structure has begun to decay and break. I’ve moved to Zoho Invoicing which is free forever, and does everything Sprout does and more.
