What It Does

This plugin allows you to grab images from remote URLs and save them into your own WordPress media library. By doing so, you never have to worry if the remote image is removed by its owner. This also saves you steps to download the image to your local computer and upload it again to your own WordPress.

There is also a JavaScript bookmarklet that helps to automate the process if you are surfing the internet and find something you would like to add to the library.

Features include automatic downloading and adding of files to the media library, redirection to the edit screen after a successful upload, and a bookmarklet that eliminates the need to copy and paste URLs.
