WPS Limit Login is a security plugin that limits the number of login attempts possible through the normal login page and using authorization cookies. By default, WordPress allows unlimited login attempts, which can make it easier for attackers to crack passwords using brute-force methods.
This plugin effectively blocks an IP address from making further attempts after a specified limit on retries has been reached, significantly enhancing the security of your WordPress site.
Features include customizable limits on login attempts, user notifications regarding remaining retries or lockout time, optional logging and email notifications, and compatibility with Sucuri Website Firewall. It also supports whitelisting and blacklisting of IP addresses and provides protection for the XMLRPC gateway as well as WooCommerce login pages.
