What It Does

WP Compiler harnesses the power of pre-processed CSS and minified JS in your theme or plugin, eliminating the need for complicated installs or build tools. Simply specify where to find your source files and where to place the compiled results, then activate Dev Mode. WP Compiler monitors your source folders and recompiles your CSS and JS upon any file changes.

When you're ready to launch your site, turn off Dev Mode. Your styles and JavaScript will be compiled and minimized, and comments and source maps will be removed. With Dev Mode disabled, Compiler will cease monitoring source directories, ensuring no impact on site performance. However, you can still make quick changes at any time by clicking the compile button in the admin toolbar.
