What It Does

This plugin automatically generates a SKU for parent and simple products, variations, or both when the product is published or updated.

Be aware that the SKU field will be disabled for SKUs generated by the plugin. Existing SKUs will be overridden if you update a product while generating SKUs. You can selectively enable or disable the plugin to avoid overriding existing SKUs.
