User Avatar is a plugin that provides a thumbnail area in the Your Profile section. Users can easily upload and crop new images in an overlay. Once cropped, the new image is saved and stored for their profile. This feature allows users of any role to upload an image and view their current thumbnail seamlessly.
In discussions, the default image associated with the user will be replaced by the uploaded user avatar. This image will be displayed in comments and in People Lists. The plugin was developed for the People Lists plugin, which provides a rich text editor on the profile page for easy modifications of user profile information.
Admins can also add custom fields to the Your Profile section. These fields can be displayed on any page using the People Lists template, which can be styled using HTML. The plugin offers a specific code that hooks the thumbnail into your lists template display.
