What It Does

Related Posts by WPBrigade will add related posts thumbnails after the post. This Related Posts Plugin allows customization of thumbnail sizes, display settings, and types of relation.

By default, it uses the generated thumbnail for the first image uploaded in the post. You can select between 'thumbnail' and 'medium' size options. If your theme supports Post Thumbnails, you can specify a custom thumbnail size. You can also specify a custom field name for the thumbnails.

Thumbnails are arranged in columns with titles and excerpts under each thumbnail. Colors and styles can be customized, including background, border, text sizes, and more. You can specify the number of related posts to display, categories to include, and more.

This plugin includes a Gutenberg block and a sidebar widget for related posts. You can also use a shortcode in the post body.

If your theme supports WordPress Posts Thumbnail feature and post has a specified Post Thumbnail as seen on Edit Post page, when this image will be used as a post thumbnail in related posts. The size of the image is determined by plugin setting ‘Post-thumbnails name’.

If your theme does not support Post Thumbnail feature or post has no assigned thumbnail, when the first image on the post will be used as a thumbnail.
