Works fine, but slowly
So far the calculations appear to be correct for me, but this plugin slows down your website as the Printify API is called multiple times on the basket and checkout pages. I’d rather not go through the faff of coding against the Printify API from scratch, so I’ve customised the get_shipping_rates function in the Printify_Shipping_API class for the plugin on my site for now. Nothing fancy – I’m saving the Printify API results in PHP session after it’s called for the first time and using that until the request (basket contents & shipping address) changes, but it dramatically reduces basket & checkout page load time. Session seemed more appropriate than object/transient storage as I imagine there won’t be a lot of crossover with people having a similar shipping address buying identical items within a short period of time. I’ve shared the code with Printify via my support ticket and suggested they implement something like this in the plugin. In the meantime, I’ve disabled auto updates for the plugin on my site and will wait to see what happens in future versions. Happy to share my code if anyone wants it, but comes with no warranty! Thanks,Sam
Works Great!
The Printify plugin is superb. If you follow instructions it does everything you could want from a POD plug-in. And the customer service is great even if you don’t get the answer you want
Not Optimized & Will Slow Down Your Website
The title pretty much sums up this overlooked plugin by the Printify dev team. The plugin is in desperate need of a complete overhaul and has been for years. The latency from its jquery scripts will extend load times of certain events such as adding/removing an item from the cart or navigating to checkout by 2-3 seconds. The Printify API works great and I highly suggest developing around that instead.
Broke Cart and Checkout Pages
Cart and Checkout pages stopped loading when this plugin was in use.
Products Won’t Publish to Website Anymore
None of my products from printify will publish to my website anymore. I’ve tried everything… Removed the plugin, removed the API keys and webhooks, disconnected my website from printify account, reinstalled the plugin, reconnected my store to my website, disabled plugins… Nothing I can do to get products to publish to my site anymore. SUPER frustrating!!! Everything was working fine a couple weeks ago and all of the sudden boom, nothing. I think the latest version of WP updating might have changed something with the way the plugin was working, IDK. I’m out of options. Not happy.
Absolutely horrific
Wasted a ton of my clients money and my time as well. Short review is, it only works sometimes, sort of and unpredictable results occur constantly. Images won’t load. Color options won’t load. Publishing errors that don’t tell you anything other than it didn’t work.I am a developer of 30 years, and I know really bad software when I see it. We had to get our client a different solution.Printify’s tech support is really poor and slow.DO NOT USE THIS PLUGIN.

doesn’t really work
It only pulls in the standard shipping cost for a product, not any options for economy or express. I have been going back and forth with Printify and they tell me that even though I can’t set any shipping options on a woocommerce product, this plugin will pull in and offer all shipping options for that product, but it only pulls in the standard shipping and they just tell me I’m wrong lol
