What It Does

Login With Ajax is designed for sites that require user logins or registrations while avoiding the standard WordPress login pages. This plugin allows you to place a login widget in the sidebar with smooth AJAX login effects.

It features AJAX-powered logins, enabling login, registration, and password recovery without screen refreshes. The plugin also supports PassKeys for next-generation security, allowing users to log in without a username and password, and includes biometric support.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is integrated, offering TOTP, email verification, and backup codes. You can customize login forms using Gutenberg Blocks, shortcodes, and widgets, and choose from multiple templates.

Additional features include custom login/logout redirections, email template modifications, and compatibility with WordPress, MultiSite, and BuddyPress. The plugin is developer-friendly with numerous hooks and customizable templates.

A Pro add-on is available, extending functionality with enhanced security features, additional 2FA methods, and support for third-party page builders. For assistance, visit the documentation site or community forums.

FAQ

Login With AJAX is fully translated in over 20 languages, partially translated in many more! Our translations are maintained by volunteers, you can also contribute to these translations.

To view translated languages avaialble or to contribute translations in your language, visit the WordPress translation portal. Any translated languages over 90% will be automatically installed with the plugin, for other languages not fully translated, see below:

If not, you can also manually install this, we’ll use Russian as an example:

Find your language on the translate.wordpress.org project page, and click on either the stable or development column percentage.
Click the ‘Export’ link at the bottom of the page, but select ‘All Current’ and the (.mo) file format, save the downloaded file.
Rename that file in the format of login-with-ajax-LANG.mo, where LANG = your language locale, for example russian is ru_RU so you’d get login-with-ajax-ru_RU.mo
Upload that file to the wp-content/languages/plugins folder on your WordPress installation.
Your Login With Ajax plugin should now be translated partially into your language.

We suggest you contribute to the WordPress translation project page, anyone with a registered wordpress.org account can suggest new translations!
