Frustrating experience – Settings don’t save and key features are broken
I am highly disappointed with the Masteriyo plugin. It has caused nothing but frustration. Major settings refuse to stick, I configure everything exactly how I need it, but the moment the page refreshes, it resets as if I did nothing at all. To make matters worse, the email verification feature completely fails to work. While the certificate feature technically works, the design is incredibly ugly and customizing it to look even remotely professional is a massive, difficult headache. This plugin is simply not reliable for a live site. I cannot recommend it.

Among these, Masteriyo is very straightforward, allowing the instructor to set up the course with ease. One can embed different media outlets and platforms, like YouTube, and upload files. I am particularly happy with the little touches that allow students feel like they are part of a course with the Question section and the Certificate. At first, it was difficult for a non-computer savvy person to add the plugin to the wordpress.com platform. I’ve had my share of complications (connecting Stripe, integrating Google Classroom, and Checkout display) but Samir helped me step-by-step to integrate the plugin. As I’ve discovered, Masteriyo thought of everything but I just needed some help learning the ‘language’ to set up the plugin.
