I am rating all plugins that has kept my website running smoothly while using the free versions and ForumWP is one of them. I am a beginner and I don’t know what exactly it does but it has been a month since I am using this plugin. Thank you very much.
Works well except with Yoast SEO
This plugin seems to be just what we need but with one caveat – it is incompatible with Yoast SEO! Fortunately I had tested it on two different sites without Yoast installed so I knew it was capable of doing what it promises and wasn’t just a buggy piece of garbage. After wasting enormous amounts of time trying to figure out what broke the forum, I finally thought of deactivating Yoast and voila, it worked like a charm. (I hope it will work with RankMath, fingers crossed).If not for this issue, I would give it 5 stars (based on my limited experience with it so far). Note to the developers: maybe you can try to either fix it or else warn users not to use it with Yoast SEO.
Basic functionality no longer works
In the latest version on my site and theirs, subscription notifications do not work. Additionally, newline characters cannot be used when creating a topic or reply, which means everything appears on a single line. I reported these things weeks ago on their support forum and got no response. These are essential features. I purchased the pro version and will have to move over to another plugin, as my client is very upset.

Simple but perfect.
If you’re working on a website that is primarily focused on being a forum then this plugin might be too simple for you. But in my case (a website where the forum is supposed to be a side-asset to my whole website) the simple thing was just perfect. I wasted a lot of time to understand other complicated forum plugins which would have overwhelmed the user as it should just be a way to communicate user’s ideas regarding the website’s goal. So i really just wanted to let that out because to find this plugin was the best thing that happened today.
