I’ve been using FooBox for a very long time
I’ve been using FooBox for a very long time and it continues to impress me. It’s one of those rare tools that just works every single time you need it. The interface is easy to understand, you don’t fight with it, and it never tries to be more complicated than it needs to be. I’ve pushed it hard through countless updates and projects, and it has never once let me down. The expandability is awesome. You can keep growing, keep adding features, keep building out your workflow, and FooBox grows right along with you without breaking anything. If you need a dependable, flexible, long-term tool in your kit, this is absolutely one worth having.

Awesome plugin and support!
A huge thank you to the the amazing FooGallery team lead by Brad! Photo Gallery plugin paired with the FooGallery Migrate plugin totally saved us after our existing gallery plugin was closed. We were looking at recreating hundreds of galleries and albums manually and dreading every minute of it because we knew it was going to take weeks and countless hours to pull off. Together, the FooGallery plugins made quick work of migrating all of our galleries and albums, leaving us with just a few days work to get things looking almost identical to our previous set up on the backend and frontend. If you need help with Photo Gallery and/or the migrator plugin, ask for it and have patience. Sometimes a solution can’t be found immediately because the developers need time to work things out. This was our experience, but Brad didn’t give up and we are super grateful.
Neat solution
This is a very neat solution and, on the whole, is easy to use. However, a few things are not obvious. Firstly, to edit attachment details, click the “information” icon rather than the edit button. Maybe that’s just me being over-fussy, but to my mind, it is not logical.The other issue is custom links. The system default to FooGallery Lightbox, which overrides the custom links. Surely, if you set a custom link that should work without having to remember to turn off something you didn’t want in the first place.

Nach 18 Jahre NextGen habe ich mich gewagt die Gallery in meinem Blog zu wechseln… wieso habe ich überhaupt so lange gewartet? Es waren die tausende Bilder die in Next Gen gesteckt haben. Jetzt langsam habe ich die Migration fertig … und schon jetzt kann ich sagen Es hat sich gelohnt. Nur wieso habe ich damit so lange gewartet … das kann ich mir nicht antworten.

Glad I found something as simple as this one with a great look.
