What It Does

Fast Velocity Minify is an HTML, CSS, and JS optimization plugin designed for developers and advanced users. After installing the plugin, it is essential to check the HELP tab for manual configuration tailored to your site. Since each site is unique, the default settings may require adjustments based on your specific needs.

The plugin performs minification on the frontend during the first uncached request. Once this initial request is processed, any subsequent pages that require the same CSS or JS files can reuse the generated static files, improving load times significantly.

If you notice that your cache is increasing rapidly, it may indicate that certain CSS or JS files are dynamic and change with each page view. In such cases, consider adding those files to the ignore list to prevent indefinite cache growth.

For additional optimization services, you can reach out for custom solutions. The plugin also supports WP-CLI commands for cache management, allowing you to purge caches efficiently.
