Pricing & Value

Free version includes

The free version, available via WordPress.org, provides full core functionality: capturing and storing CF7 submissions in the database, viewing entries, and exporting to CSV, which appears sufficient for the vast majority of reviewers.

Pro version (29 - 119 USD / year)

A premium version typically adds features such as enhanced search and filtering, additional export formats, attachment handling, and priority support, though most users in reviews reference relying comfortably on the free tier.

Final Verdict

CFDB7 enjoys an outstanding reputation among WordPress users, backed by nearly 1,900 overwhelmingly positive ratings and a reputation for simplicity and reliability that spans over a decade. For anyone already using Contact Form 7, it remains a go-to solution for capturing and managing form submissions without complicating their workflow.

That said, the plugin's security history, including a critical SQL injection vulnerability and repeated XSS issues, warrants caution: users must keep it fully updated at all times. Weighed against alternatives offering more modern entry management and built-in spam handling, CFDB7 is best suited to those who value proven simplicity over advanced features, provided they stay vigilant about applying security patches promptly.
