What It Does

This powerful plugin allows users to receive email notifications of group activity. Weekly or daily digests are available. Each user can choose how they want to subscribe to their groups.

Please note that this plugin requires BuddyPress, as well as the BuddyPress Groups and Activity components.

There are 5 levels of email subscription options: No Email, Weekly Summary Email, Daily Digest Email, New Topics Email, and All Email.

Group admins can choose a default subscription level for new members. The daily digest email is sent every morning and contains all the emails from all the groups a user is subscribed to. Summary and digest timing can be configured in the back end.

The digest and summary emails are sent out in multipart HTML and plain text format for better readability. Users receive notifications for replies to topics they create or comment on, regardless of their subscription status.

Group admins can send emails to all group members and set subscription levels for existing users. To protect against spam, there is an option to set a minimum registration period before users' activities are emailed.
