What It Does

This plugin provides a simple way to add JavaScript code to the header and footer of individual pages, posts, or custom post types. You can add conversion codes to thank you pages or Google re-marketing codes to specific pages.

In version 1.3, an option was added to include scripts on all pages, allowing for site-wide Google re-marketing or Google Analytics integration. To configure this, navigate to 'settings' and then 'Header Footer Settings'.

New features in version 3.0 include the ability to add scripts to terms and category pages. Additionally, version 2.3 introduced support for the WooCommerce shop page.

The plugin also allows you to exclude individual pages from displaying the header and footer scripts through checkboxes on each page or post. You can limit the script to certain post types or pages as needed.

Final Verdict

SOGO Add Script to Individual Pages Header Footer is a user-friendly plugin that effectively meets the basic need of adding scripts to individual pages. It enjoys high praise for ease of use and functionality from the majority of its users. However, the presence of intrusive ads, malicious popups, and a known security vulnerability significantly detract from its overall reliability and safety.

For users prioritizing security and a clean, ad-free experience, this plugin is not recommended. Alternatives with better security records and no intrusive advertising should be considered. Those willing to accept these risks for a free and simple solution may find it adequate, but caution is advised.
