Flawless, fast, gorgeous
From all the current block plugins (and I tested out more than 25 in dec 2024) GetWid stands out in one aspect that no other plugin offers. In an existing block theme / FSE environment, all style information like layout, colors and font information is picked up by GetWid instantaneously and seamlessly. No hassle at all. Making beautiful stuff is a breeze! Highly recommended.
Best of its type (shame about the “AI”)
This is definitely the best Blocks plugin I’ve tried on the balance of function and weight. Some of the blocks are a bit superfluous, and I doubt I will have too much need for any future ones; however, because the payload is light compared to other Gutenberg plugins I’ve tried, I don’t really mind them being available for niche situations. (Sure, I’d ultimately like to toggle them on and off individually, but I am a bit of a neat freak.) Overall, the selection of blocks is good and the impact on load times is minimal. The included css has played nicely with my themes too, which is much appreciated. The existence of this plugin makes it much easier for me to dissuade clients who want to kludge up their site with a pagebuilder plugin! [EDIT: Since this review, they have in fact added the ability to toggle all blocks on or off individually. Sweet!] [EDIT 2024-12-22: Regretfully removing a star for the inclusion of LLM content generation, aka slop that’s destroying the internet. What a shame to see that being endorsed in an otherwise excellent plugin.]

Nice collection of blocks without annoying up selling
Getwid is awesome! If you expecting something like Elementor, you may be disappointed. You still need skills to write a few lines CSS and edit theme.json. That’s exactly what I want!

Robust, flawless, free
I like this plugin a lot. I used it on 100’s of WP’s so far. Never ran into a single issue. Except, the AI-block does not work for me. Probably it only works in the US. But apart from that, it helps to create very nice WP sites. I like the animations and caroussels most. They offer that extra pinch naked Twenty-themes never come with. Love it.
