What It Does

Media Credit is a plugin that enhances your media uploads by adding a 'Credit' field. This field allows you to properly credit the artist of the media you use in your posts. When you upload media through the Media Uploader or edit existing media, you can assign credit to a user or enter freeform text.

Once the media is inserted into a post, the credit information is displayed below the media using a shortcode. This shortcode can be customized with your own styles. You can also showcase all media by a specific author on their author page.

The plugin offers several options for customization, including the separator between the artist's name and the organization, and the ability to display credits at the end of posts. This ensures that all media is properly attributed while maintaining a clean presentation on your blog.
