What It Does

WP Media Folders is a media management plugin that implements a real folder and media URL structure. It allows users to import and synchronize media structure with the JoomUnited WP Media Folder plugin.

This plugin enables the creation of actual server folders based on virtual folders in the WordPress Media Library. It also provides a new field in the media edition window for updating the full path and name of all media, ensuring that old media URLs are replaced automatically in the database to avoid broken links.

It is important to note that this plugin does not require the WP Media Folder plugin to create a real media folder structure but offers optional integration with it. Users should run a full backup before activating this plugin due to its impact on the WordPress core functionality.
