bloated, lack of customization plugin
I regret downloading the YITH Gift Card plugin. It’s incredibly bloated, slowing down my website with unnecessary features I don’t need. The customization options are severely lacking, which makes it very difficult to tailor it to my specific needs. On top of that, the support team is unhelpful and seems completely uninterested in fixing even basic, generic issues. One major issue is that the email templates can’t be translated through Loco Translate, and when I reached out for assistance, they refused to provide any help. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this plugin.

Does not work on Backend Orders
We’ve been using this plugin for several years successfully; it allows giftcards to be used by the customer on checkout and we could manage and create store credit giftcards on the backend. In the last release, they disabled the deduction functionality on the order admin screen so you can apply a giftcard but it doesn’t deduct from the balance. After contacting support, they said that this functionality was a bug previously (for the last 2-3 years?) and it was intentionally removed. We’re now shopping for a new giftcard plugin. TLDR: If you’re only using it for customers on the front end, you’re fine. If you’re using it to apply giftcards from the admin screen, find another solution.

Massy plugin, no structure, not intuitive for users. Free version works better than the premium version that creates errors while trying to pay part of an order with a gift card

Delayed delivery do not work, not support AJAX, is not compatible with YITH POS
Very disappointed, does not support AJAX when adding, generated codes are not compatible with regular coupons and are not supported with YITH POS, also recently the scheduled sending of a gift card or sending immediately after purchase does not work correctly

Didn’t work, support non existent
the plugin is simple to use and set up, if only it actually worked! cannot use the codes at checkout, and when you contact ‘support’ you’re told to post on a message board that no one bothers to respond to. absolute waste of time.
