Custom numbers will be assigned to new orders automatically. There is also a tool to renumerate existing orders. You can add a prefix to the order number, including the order date as a prefix.

Additionally, you can enable order tracking by custom number and admin order search by custom number. The plugin is compatible with popular invoice plugins, ensuring that invoices will display custom order numbers instead of the original order ID.
